Customer Experience Training

Silverback Studios has had the pleasure of working with Superdrug Stores since 2014. It is the fastest growing health and beauty retailer in the UK, more than doubling its profit in 2015. Superdrug’s goal is simply to be the best in everyday accessible beauty and health. The company believes that the more they invest in training their staff, the better the service they provide to their customers, and the better the business results that they deliver.

Silverback was delighted to be asked to help Superdrug bring their customer experience training materials to life. Working closely with the HR team and Mary Gober International, we developed a clear visual identity for the company VMV (Vision, Mission, Values) and set of customer experience icons to be used during staff training. We designed a set of posters as well as a physical training ‘passport’ for employees. The result is a dynamic and informative style that stands out from other corporate training communications.

As an extension of the printed work, Silverback has been involved in an exciting new project; the design and development of the CX Training App. With thousands of users nationally, the UI (user interface) needed to be easy to use and accessible to all. Using our extensive knowledge of the training tools we were able to create an app which met all of the client’s criteria and more, opening up the potential for further digital collaborations between Silverback and Superdrug.

programmes and modules, some leading to industry recognised
qualifications. For example, we are thrilled that Superdrug were
announced as the CIPD People Management Awards 2016 Winners
for Best Learning & Development Initiative.

Our relationship with Superdrug continues to go from strength to strength and we have continued to help them bring their internal communications to life, including their rewards and benefits collateral and their internal online resource, The Hub, as well as their apprenticeships scheme. As a result of the projects we have completed for Superdrug, we have also had the opportunity to work with their sister company Savers and their parent holding company A.S. Watson.

The L&D team at Superdrug was awarded the CIPD/People Management Award for Best Learning & Development Initiative! The award was given to them for their Customer Experience Training created by Superdrug together with Mary Gober International. The logo, training icons and printed materials were all designed here at Silverback Studios.
