Steven Bartlett, the entrepreneur, speaker, investor, author and podcast host, was in need of a new website to promote his platforms and share his story. This is a hub where users can view his venture portfolio, stream his DOAC podcast, watch Dragons’ Den episodes, browse tour dates and purchase his merchandise.


Design
As part of the website redesign, we were asked to not create a ‘logo’ and to keep the branding slick and inspired by Steven’s personal brand. The vibrant yellow with the contrasting black and large typography represents Steven’s bold, entrepreneurial and disruptive nature. Sleek transitions and animations are incorporated throughout the site, an example of which can be seen with the central timeline extending on scroll. The website was designed ‘mobile-first’ and with a Gen-Z audience in mind.

Develop
As the web project naturally evolved throughout the build, motion was a key request. Video is used throughout the site, the short clips with bold yellow typography give an overview and an insight into Steven’s work. As Steven’s portfolio is so varied and inspirational we found ways of keeping all of the content areas individual but all under the same look and feel, through different ways of using the assets we created. We researched and sourced all of the copy from the existing website and other internet sources, which we then pulled together, re-wrote and populated to the new website.

Deliver
The website represents the Steven Bartlett brand perfectly. Seamlessly combining information with modern aesthetic and motion. The launch was a success and the team at Steven Bartlett are thrilled with the look and functionality of the site. We look forward to working on the next project together.
