The Fibre Gateway is the latest innovation from The Fibre Café, a virtual, revolutionary community for fibre techies, with a more relaxed theme than the traditional IT environment.
The Fibre Gateway is a unified interface, seamlessly connecting AltNets and communication service providers. This groundbreaking technology transgresses boundaries and offers a simple, cost-effective and flexible wholesale fibre platform.
The Fibre Café approached Silverback® to create an identity and website in order to effectively communicate their solution to their target market.
After discussing the initial brief, the creative team developed multiple routes for the visual identity which were presented to the client for feedback. The chosen route was a modern ‘logo type’ reflecting the streamlined automation of ‘The Fibre Gateway’ solution. The 3 ‘E’s’ within the company name were modified to represent different connections coming into the gateway.
A number of dynamic and impactful colour palettes were proposed which represented the forward-thinking and modern nature of the technology – the client ultimately settled on the pink due to its natural synergy with group company, Strategic Imperatives.
The new bespoke designed and built microsite outlined all the key information and benefits of using the solution and these were distilled down to easy-to-digest, bite-sized information. A CSS animation was created to visually illustrate the simplistic nature of ‘The Fibre Gateway’ solution. SVG diagrams and iconography were created to present the content in a more engaging way. A bespoke WordPress CMS integration allows the client to easily manage content, news and technical information themselves. Other deliverables included print adverts, presentation templates, posters and supplementary documents.
The Troop really enjoyed working on this project and it’s another example of how our unique parallel process delivers great results for our clients. With the creative and digital teams working together through the entire project the brand really looks great on and offline.
