The Utility Warehouse brand is owned and run by Telecom Plus plc. It is a successful discount club offering a wide range of utility services, on one monthly bill as well as customer benefits. Every year, they hold Express Day, a huge event across two days for Partners run by Partners!
Some of the most successful Partners in the business share their success tips, methods, and stories. It’s considered a ‘must not miss’ event in the Utility Warehouse calendar. We were thrilled to be asked once again to brand the 2019 Express Day, this time with a “2020 Vision” theme.
We came up with the kaleidoscope concept as we liked the idea of an identity that was constantly changing. Everyone’s vision for what they want as a distributor is different and therefore this seemed an appropriate graphic. We also played with perspective which again tied back to having an individual viewpoint, then coming together as a consistent company vision. The result is a colourful, vibrant and varied creative, together with bold messaging and photography.
We rolled the identity out across many different formats including show stands and banners, posters, certificates, parking permits, sandwich bags and lunch vouchers. It all had to be turned round pretty quickly to meet a tight deadline, so we worked closely with their team to deliver great design work and ensure attention to detail.
The event was a great success and the graphics really helped to make the event look professional and act as a conversation starter for Partners. It was a great opportunity for Partners to celebrate their successes and share top tips. The theme was used again for their MAD event later in the year as a reminder to distributors.
